Some of the objectives of the Society are :

To promote the growth of various techniques of Electroanalytical Chemistry used in various disciplines, e.g. chemistry, physics, material science, biology, environment, etc.

To provide a common platform to young researchers as well as scientists using electroanalytical chemistry for research in their respective disciplines.

To disseminate information to all the electroanalytical scientists in the country about the activities of similar other professional bodies, e.g. European Society for Electroanalytical Chemistry (ESEAC), American Society for Electroanalytical Chemistry (SEAC), International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE).

To work in harmony with other Electrochemical Societies in the country, e.g. Society for the Advancement of Electrochemical Science and Technology (SAEST), Electrochemical Society of India (ECSI) keeping in mind the focus of ISEAC.

To provide incentive by way of awards to researchers for best thesis, best paper published in the journal and best paper presented in National and International Conferences / Symposia.

To bring out and update periodically a directory of Life-Members of ISEAC with contact information and recent publications in the area of Electrochemistry of each individual.
